INGREDIENTS
- 1 x Seafood Marinara
- 1pk Pasta Tagliatelle
- Olive oil
- 6 Garlic Gloves, crushed
- 1 Brown onion, diced
- 1/2 cup white wine
- 2 tsp Sugar
- Salt & Pepper
- Parsley, garnish
METHOD
Step 1
Cook tagliatelle in a large pot of salted water, stirring occasionally until al dente. Reserve a cup of pasta water for cooking, then drain the pasta. Set spaghetti aside.
Step 2
Heat oil in a large pan over high heat. Add seafood marinara mix until cooked. Transfer to a bowl once cooked.
Step 3
In the same pan, heat oil, then add garlic and onion. Cook until the onion is translucent.
Step 4
Add wine to the onions and garlic. Simmer until the alcohol smell has evaporated.
Step 5
Add marinara sauce, sugar, salt & pepper. Bring the sauce to a simmer, tasting as you go.
Step 6
Add cooked tagliatelle, seafood mix and part of the reserved pasta cooking water into the sauce. Toss gently and cook until the sauce has thickened and coats the pasta.
Step 7
Garnished with parsley and serve.
